      <title>Existing Users: Updated Editor Launch!</title>
      <description>Most features with the updated editor will be the same as what you are currently using. The new editor will be slightly easier to use, and will offer some new features. Some of the new features include: find and replace on a page, format stripper, html paste, insert symbols and easier use of tables. This new editor will also allow you to make MINIMAL text changes on an iphone or ipad.

If you should have any issues or concerns please fill out a support ticket on the home screen of the WMS.

      <title>WMS CALENDAR UPGRADE HAS BEEN LAUNCHED!</title>
      <description>The calendar upgrade has been launched. We are still in the process of making sure that the printing works in all browsers and versions. Some older versions of Internet Explorer still may not print properly. There are also many variations of peoples default printer settings and variations in the zoom in which they view their websites.

If anything doesn&amp;#39;t work properly please fill out the support ticket on the home screen of your WMS.

Please Note: You now need to give each event a start and end time. You can also mark an event as an all day event. You can not edit or add a new calendar entry without this information.</description>

      <title>Harborfields Site in Flight</title>
      <description>Back in July, the Harborfields Central School District in Greenlawn, NY (northwestern Suffolk County, Long Island) launched a newly redesigned site. The new design features Upcoming Events, an &amp;amp;ldquo;In the Spotlight&amp;amp;rdquo; section and other newsworthy items on the home page, including special areas for students, parents and the general community. The site also boasts improved navigation. Harborfields services students in the areas of Centerport and Greenlawn in Huntington Township.

      <title>Bellmore and Fire Island have Launched</title>
      <description>New websites for the Fire Island School District (Suffolk County, NY) and Bellmore Public Schools (Nassau County, NY) have launched. Both districts serve elementary-level students living in communities on Long Island&amp;amp;rsquo;s south shore. Students from Fire Island graduate to the Bay Shore and Islip School Districts while Bellmore grads attend the Bellmore-Merrick secondary school system.

      <title>East Meadow, Elwood, and Lindenhurst Sign On</title>
      <description>The East Meadow and Elwood Union Free School Districts, and the Lindenhurst Public Schools have all signed on with Syntax to redesign their existing websites. Syntax previously built sites for Elwood and Lindenhurst; however, the demand for improved functionality and a more streamlined, refined look to aid visitors has prompted a change. East Meadow, which has utilized Syntax for varied communications services for more than 15 years, has agreed to allow Syntax to rebuild a new site for the district for the first time. East Meadow services students in the central Nassau County community by the same name, as well as parts of Levittown and Westbury. Lindenhurst is located in Western Suffolk County, NY and Elwood in central Long Island, also in Suffolk, servicing students in the East Northport and Greenlawn areas.

      <title>Harborfields CSD Nearing Final Stages of Redesign</title>
      <description>The Harborfields Central School District, which educates students in the hamlets of Centerport and Greenlawn (Suffolk County), NY is nearing a launch date to unveil a new &amp;#39;punched-up&amp;#39; site. The new website will be consistent with the distrtict&amp;#39;s new branding, as seen in the Harborfields Highlights newsletter. Like all Syntax-built CMS sites, the new Harborfields site will provide enhanced functionality with some familiar, popular features, such as the district calendar, which posts events from all of the schools. One new added feature is that parents will have the ability to access calendars from individual schools and actually personalize their own calendar, tailoring it to their own children. Principals will have the ability to post daily announcements and update their pages regularly, as will permitted school officials with their respective departments, delivering relevant information to students, staff and other interested members of the public in a timely manner.       <title>Hampton Bays Website Launched April 14, 2010</title>
      <description>The Hampton Bays Public Schools, located in Eastern Long Island, Suffolk County, NY launched a new Content Management System-based website on April 14, 2010. Built by Syntax, the new site&amp;#39;s homepage contains a news scroll for up-to-date flashes as well as other &amp;amp;quot;News of Note&amp;amp;quot; delivered in an easy-to-find and read format. Upcoming events are also right there on the page as well as a clickable format of districtwide calendar, links to all three district schools and video messaging offered through HBTV. Easy-to-find pages and resources for parents community members, students or virtually anyone who wishes to learn more about the Hampton Bays Schools and community, including local government and real estate links, are also available.
