We are still in the process of making sure that the printing works in all browsers and versions. Some older versions of Internet Explorer still may not print properly. There are also many variations of peoples default printer settings and variations in the zoom in which they view their websites. East Meadow, which has utilized Syntax for varied communications services for more than 15 years, has agreed to allow Syntax to rebuild a new site for the district for the first time. East Meadow services students in the central Nassau County community by the same name, as well as parts of Levittown and Westbury. Like all Syntax-built CMS sites, the new Harborfields site will provide enhanced functionality with some familiar, popular features, such as the district calendar, which posts events from all of the schools. One new added feature is that parents will have the ability to access calendars from individual schools and actually personalize their own calendar, tailoring it to their own children. Principals will have the ability to post daily announcements and update their pages regularly, as will permitted school officials with their respective departments, delivering relevant information to students, staff and other interested members of the public in a timely manner.
